The Montessori classroom is a well organized, structured learning environment that encompasses many distinct learning areas. Each area is organized so that the child is able to learn sequentially, beginning with the basics and progressing to more the difficult; each building on the previous. A Montessori classroom will have 5 main areas of learning. Each area develops a specific set of skills all which interrelate to one another.
